Can someone help me factor some quadratics? Thanks!?

1.What is the factored form of y = 2x^2 6x 4? I was thinking 2(x - 1)(x - 2) but I cant be sure! 2. Find the factored form of y = x^2 4 3. Find the usual y = ax^2 bx c form of the quadratic which has a = 1, and two zeros z = 3 and z' = 7 4. Find the usual y = ax^2 bx c form of the quadratic which has a = 1, and two zeros z = 2 i and z' = 2 - i These are some select problems that I'm not sure about out of a bunch that I get from the math from random worksheets I downloaded to teach myself Alg 2 over the summer. I numbered them for the convenience of answering. Quadratics are odd. If anyone can solve all of them it would be great, because I learn best from seeing it done Thanks for all your help! I'm learning higher tier GCSE maths and I'm trying to find a steady supply of worksheets to keep me busy. I especially need worksheets on subjects like factoring, factoring quadratics, graphs (lots of graphs), sine and cosine rules, etc. Thanks.Grade 9: FACTORING QUADRATICS: Perfect square trinomail and difference of squares! So today was the first day of school and I got a bunch of math worksheets with stuff I learned last year! There is a huge chunk on factoring polynomials and while I remember learning it, I am super fuzzy on what to do and where to start. Could anyone give me a step by step process on how to do these? Here are two of the problems: x^2+3x+2= and x^2-16x+64=Help with factoring in algebra II?

In algebra II we're now learning how to do factoring, and I don't understand it. I don't know how to do this worksheet that was given to us for homework, and was wondering if someone could explain to me how to do these problems. I tried a couple on my own, but I'm not sure if I've done this correctly. Can you tell me if i have? Thanks, i really need help with the factoring. =] Link to the worksheet: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p186/hotcheetos91/factoringmathhwpic.jpg Thanks, i really need help on the other problems though. By the way, you can click on the pic to make it bigger. :.
