So, we're learning about 30-60-90 triangles in math, and I get how they work. The shortest leg (X) is 1/2 of the hypotenuse. The longer leg (Y) is X times the square root of 3. I'm confused because they don't list side Y as X square roots of three, but just as a single number. Can you help? Thanks in advance.
